Kacey Jurgens joined THA in 1989. Her special expertise is in planning, programming and design for libraries, higher education buildings and cultural arts buildings. Kacey is a member of American Library Association and is the firm's library specialist; having served on the design team for every academic and public library that THA has designed. She has a strong commitment to addressing client input and is an advocate for the staff and users on all of her projects.
An active member of the Society for College and University Planners (SCUP) and a LEED accredited professional, Kacey is dedicated to promoting sustainability on college campuses. Kacey served as a key presenter at the 2003 "Conference on Building and Operating Sustainable College and University Campuses in the 21st Century," held in Modesto, California. The focus of the conference was the new University of California campus in Merced.
Kacey received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon and her Master of Architecture from the Oregon School of Architecture and Design.
